My Salve is better than Vicks Natural Vapor Rub, as this has all of the good stuff of Vicks, even better, it has none of the bad, like petroleum jelly and turpentine. Works great, gentle for kids and will not sting a sore nose but makes it much easier to breath. It does NOT contain petroleum (crude oil). Petroleum “jelly” can be harmful to your body because it leaves a layer on top of your skin, not allowing it to breathe. This disrupts the body’s natural process of releasing toxins through the pores. It is also free of toxic chemicals, parabens, sulfates, and other harsh synthetic ingredients. What more can you ask for??

This vapor rub/salve is all natural, non-petroleum and handmade in small batches by me. Most people don’t know but “Vapor Rub” has many uses, such as for a cold, for cough, for dry skin, to ease headaches, for acne, for muscle pain, for stretchmarks and even earaches. Rub on chest and or nose for cold and cough, rub into your temples for migraines or anywhere on your body for dry skin, I even use it on my lips for a deeper moiturizing.
Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Coca Butter, Beeswax, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, & Spearmint Essential Oils.
Benefits of Ingredients used:
Peppermint essential oil is antibacterial, analgesic (it soothes pain) and anti-inflammatory. It’s also cooling and refreshing thanks to its menthol content.
Eucalyptus essential oil is antimicrobial and a great expectorant, making it a good oil to use for respiratory issues.
Spearmint essential oil has antibacterial and antimicrobial activity against several types of harmful bacteria, including bacteria that cause foodborne illnesses, such as E. coli and Listeria.
